Below, I have put together a gallery of images showcasing my puppets & props I have created out of new & recycled materials since 2010. Click through the images below to see what I’ve created. For a behind the scenes look as to how I create some of my puppets and props, read this post or this post over on my blog for more photos and insight.
Lulu puppet from short film, “Lulu”.
Nightmare bunny from “Here’s Lookin at Spew Kid.”
Up close and personal with my Todd puppet.
Dorothy puppet from “Lulu” short.
Todd puppet. Costume made from old clothes from the real-life Todd.
Props for “Todd” animation. The palette is from recycled plastic and the stand is a cup I threw and glazed in Intermediate Ceramics while attending Edinboro University.
Palette & stand from latest stop-motion film I’m working on.
Couch and pillow props from “Lulu” and “Here’s Looking at Spew Kid.” Upholstery were old pants I didn’t like and the pillow fabric was from a loud shirt I had.
Here is another view of my gluttonous unicorn scarfing down his chocolate! His goal for New Year’s is to find THE best chocolate bar while watching Top Chef! Oh and by the way, the TV’s buttons are cut from cushion foam. I also cut a square of plastic wrap for the TV screen(so it reflects a little). The TV stand is also made from a cereal box, and then was simply covered in brown construction paper. I finally decorated the scene with random candy trash. The white table and lamp are from my mom’s old dollhouse. The couch he’s sitting on was cut and made from blue insulation foam. It was then covered using an old pair of corduroy pants. This is an older prop I grabbed from my second stop motion film. Here is the link to my “Lulu” film it premiered in! href=”http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LOLXf3hm4Js”
