Coloring outside of the lines for a good cause

I’ve recently been working on a series of illustrations for a coloring book that will be distributed by a local non-profit organization that provides daily living services for people living with disabilities. My line drawings are going to be picture stories that will help a person understand various tasks they will encounter throughout the day like maintaining good oral hygiene, washing their hair, dressing properly, eating in moderation and other daily activities. I’m so thrilled to be apart of this project and wanted to share some of the drawings I’ve been working on below:

A line drawing done in Photoshop CS5.

Although I’m focusing on creating new line drawings, I decided to use an old, familiar character I created a few blog posts back to help show how a person should brush their teeth carefully and enjoy their food slowly.

A t-rex illustrating the idea of taking small bites. Illustrated using Photoshop CS5 and various digital brushes.
